Do my customers need to download an app?
No. The customer side is a web app — they sign up via your invite link with just an email, and we send them a one-tap sign-in link. Their wallet (with QR + backup code) opens in any mobile browser. No App Store, no Play Store, no friction.
How long does setup actually take?
Under 5 minutes. A 4-step wizard collects your business name, category, location, and contact info. Then a 2-step program wizard sets your earn and burn rates (or your punch card length). You can publish and start awarding immediately.
What happens if the camera doesn't work?
Every customer wallet shows a 6-character code below the QR (it rotates every 5 minutes and can be regenerated). On the owner's Scan page there's a 'Camera not working?' field — type the code, get the customer.
Can I switch between Points and Punch later?
Yes. Open the Program wizard and pick the other style. Existing balances stay in the database — you just choose which side they track on.
What does it cost?
Free during beta. We'll publish a forever-free tier and paid plans later, but anyone who signs up during beta keeps current pricing for a long time.
Where does my data live?
On our own infrastructure. We store the minimum we need to run the program (your business profile, customer balances, transaction log). No tracking, no ads, no third-party data sharing.
